MONDAY MAIL RUN #23: Grand Canyon/Colorado River Run to Las Vegas / Nellis AFB
This week we’ll be flying Lockheed Orions from the south rim of the Grand Canyon departing from Grand Canyon National (KGCN) westward through the canyon following the mighty Colorado River, stopping at Grand Canyon West and on up the river past Hoover Dam, Boulder City, rolling though Las Vegas McCarran Intl (KLAS) and northward up ‘The Strip” and past downtown to Nellis Air Force Base, home of the Thunderbirds.
