  • KACars AFK check

    Hi All,
How many of you are getting AFK checks when you are just about to land/touch down?

I know of at least 2 other that have told me about this but I can only put a name to 1 of them.

So if you have had this please reply to this post.

I am one of them. An AFK check below 10,000 feet is annoying to say the least. This sort of irritant makes me much less likely to fly the VA. It just isn't worth it anymore. Do we really need to make sure someone is at their key board on final approach?

There is nothing wrong with the under 10.000ft rule, the prob is, that the AFK check should only happend if u use the Autopilot and mayby the limit should be 3000ft for the Autopilot.

Yes I think you are wright about it only checking when the Autopilot it turned on. If you add ALT to it then it must be AGL (above ground).
