  • Inside B-17G Liberty belle in 2010

As I said in the thread for Airshow Image of the Week #2

    http://msflights.net/forum/showthrea...e-Week-2/page2

In 2010 my daughter gave me an overly generous birthday gift of a ride up front in the B-17G Liberty Belle.

As fate would have it, I didn't have my good DSLR camera with me at the time, but my aging 6 year old P&S camera.

Amazing! That would be such a cool aircraft to fly in, for me especially because I have so many hours in the A2A one. It is really too bad that we lost another B-17, especially since this one was in such great shape.
      If it ain't Boeing — I ain't going.

I recently flew in Aluminum Overcast while she was in St. Louis, what an amazing experience. So glad I did it!

Wow, being able to fly in that must have been awesome. What a great gift! I took a couple pictures of a B-17G when it was up at the 2013 AirVenture, Oshkosh this year. Thought I would share a couple exterior shots with the group:
