  • Call for Video-Makers

I have a few ideas I'd like to direct/put together for the msflights.net YouTube page: www.youtube.com/msflightsmedia

My machine is relatively limited with it's recording performance. I was wondering if there is anyone out there with an above average machine that has a passion for recording, producing, or editing video's and aiding in providing consistent content to the msflights.net YouTube channel?

Please post if you're interested and have the means.

I can record if you want to setup a scenario. I can edit better than what I do my own videos, my interest in my own videos is purely to get them out there, so I dont spend a great deal of time editing, but I can, and have tools...

This is a WAY ABOVE average computer! Its like a NASA Computer here! He does post some of his secretes but I do not know how difficult this would be to produce. it would certainly be VERY demanding on a computer. I am a very very unexpired video editor/producer so I would probably not be the best for this job.

I am recording at an average of 30 frames, sometimes less if the screen is super busy. EZDock? No, and isnt it called EZDok? I will look into it. For editing, I have a couple of different apps. Wondershare, AVS Video, and a couple of others that elude my fore-thoughts. For a good portion of my own videos I have been using movie maker to mesh 2 pieces together, but I am not happy with what it does to the quality of the video, so I am not using it any longer.

I dont mind editing if someone I can get the raw video. My specialty is in audio editing, though. Capturing video is a no go for me at the moment though, cant seem to write to my hdd fast enough so my video is really choppy.

Hawgdawg, upload a max frame rate video, optimized for HD, do a 30-60 second test run of in-flight activities and let me have a look if you can.

That'd be great, if it works out we could use your ftp for sending movie files.

I'm more than willing and able to both record and edit for the YouTube channel. If you've got some sort of a test for me to do then I'd surely be able to fit it in within the next day or so. You'll have to elaborate a little though; i.e. the add-on(s) which may be necessary.

Qeronic, I would like to do the same that Warhawk asked of me and let me know when its complete. Honestly, if someone else is willing to do this, I have so many irons in so many fires....

Jcom, same for you... lets say 2 minute video HD quality, doesn't have to be huge in size.... 720I would be fine I think...I think you should submit both edited and unedited copies.

                      Hey guys,
I only have Flight but I can record and do a bit of editing. Audio is probably my biggest challenge. My FPS is around 45 and usually use Premiere Pro for editing.

                      Cheers

I didn't catch your post HawgDawg. I will try to get some flight recorded and edited. I will provide the edited and unedited copy. Also, my editing software is Sony Vegas Pro 12. Reason being I have not had much time lately so I am not sure if I will be able to produce a video.

Is there a good video editing software that does not compress the final product?

I have been looking for something that I can record in one format, and finalize it in the same format without video degradation during the compression phase.

If you use h264 HD export settings, it looks the same, but is 1/10 - 1/20th the size. It would be near impossible to upload raw video cuts to youtube because it would take hours, even with fast up speed.
