
This was a good idea!
I created my own setup by mounting the bases of my Alpha and Bravo on a plank painted to match my desk.
Both of my mounting plates had pre-drilled holes, so I did not have to drill any new holes.
The plank is mounted to my desk with clamps, and can then easily be removed if needed.
So far I just remove the Alpha and Bravo, leaving the bases screwed down, and then placing my keyboard on top of/between the bases.

Ps: To get the screws to be flush with the top of the base, you could either use a countersink drill bit, or just drill a few millimeters down with a bigger drill bit.
