Microburst Event - Extreme Wind

I thought it was pretty amazing. Downdraft created some pretty heavy winds that forced some of the tow aircraft to take off to avoid flipping on the ground.

Welcome to Colorado! With sustained gusts well above stall speed, not even chocks would have helped.

We experienced similar on the first FSX Monday Mail Runs upon arriving at LaGuardia in Curtiss Jennys. With gusts well over stall speed we couldn't hold parked aircraft on the ground, and engines off meant recovery was iffy.
