  • Live streaming fsx flights!

that's right! I found a way to live stream (well, with a few second delay from my screen to yours) FSX. Instantly there was talk of using it to the groups advantage so hit me up tomorrow when I'm around so I'll start streaming and we can get some ideas flowing.

Here is the link to view streams when they happen. I hope anybody and everybody will check it out.

I'm down and alright to edit the profile and make it pro-MSflights, but I don't want it to look like an advertisement lol. Hope you understand; I'm not sure If I want it to be a personal channel, or a professional channel due to the professional sounding and catchy name. (cough cough, FlyingDreams, cough, inspired, cough cough, thanks dude, cough)

possibly. I'm no IT guy, but there does seem to be a noticeable impact on frame rates, but it's not a crippling problem. Surely, others with better computers could most likely do better than my end.

If you had two computers it wouldn't be a problem...first one to fly with and the second to process the video for streaming....with a video in type of thing

Huge CPU and RAM hog, which just so happens to be what FSX pulls power from the most :P

If you have a good PC though you'll be fine, something like a 3770K would be your best bet.

I can stream pretty much everything except FSX.

For anyone interested I recommend Open Broadcast Software, which you can get here http://obsproject.com/

And find yourself a tutorial, this one looks decent enough, but cant vouch for it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stMBmiEwvYE
