Meet the LES DC-3 for X-Plane. It is ~not~ the easy flying C-47 we've all come to love. I just took one lap around tonight. But not until after leaving the runway on the first roll and burning the engines up while trying to recover from that. The takeoff roll the second time was much smoother. It doesn't just stroll into the air though, it has to be finessed.
The flying was FANTASTIC! The touchdown was every single bit of the challenge that I have heard tailwheelers can be. I think that the exterior model and cockpit visuals are really impressive. It has a full passenger cabin that is not as pristine in its appearance, but it is there.
I watched a couple of YouTube videos on the model after a friend recommended it.
I can't fly anymore tonight but I'm excited to give this some more stick time. It looks to be the best DC-3 I've run across.
