  • Aerobatics Training Course?

    Hey all,
Recently I've been thinking about creating a step-by-step aerobatics training course for pilots who want to learn tight, competition-style aerobatics like Spins, loops, Hammerheads, barrel rolls, Cuban 8s, etc. The group would meet every weekend, unless something comes up. There would be a quick, roughly 15 min. classroom session in an online whiteboard, then we'd go out and practice it. People would probably go up one at a time and I'd sit on the ground and critique them, and we'd cycle through the line several times until I believe everyone has it down. After every session, I'd post what we learned that day into a forum post for the people that missed to see, and for quick reference. If you require more time on a maneuver, I might be able to stay after the session and help you out, time permitting. Our aircraft of choice would be a freeware Edge 540 with the greatest aerobatic modelling I've seen in any FSX aircraft. Seriously, 90% of stuff in real life you can mimic with that plane. I'll post a link to it if this group becomes something we want. Maybe, maybe, after we finish with all of the solo aerobatics, we could move into formation flying. I don't know about that yet. So, let me know how you think about this!
    Thanks
