  • First Aviation Headset

So I've been talking to my squadron leadership inside of Civil Air Patrol about taking flight lessons. So I am now on a path of being able to do that. There are a few prerequisites I have to get out of the way first.

So I figure when the time comes, I need to buy a headset to fly with. Now I don't want something crazy like a Lightspeed or Bose headset as my first choice. I'm looking at David Clark but I wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions that are reasonably priced for a first time headset?

    Thanks!

Can't say for sure, but I believe that there are a LOT of used aviation headsets out there (ebay, etc)... might be a good way to get active noise cancellation at a lower-end price.
Take the time, a second to soar; for soon after, beckons a second more.
