Gooney Bird Flight: Summer Vacation (Friday 9pm EDT)

    June 25th, 2019, 06:05 PM
This will be a sight seeing trip in the Alps (think the "Sound of Music" movie opening). Se will be flying as low is reasonable, between 3,000 and 5,000 feet. We will be following a INN river (right tributary of the Danube).

I plan to use the Flight Plan as a general guide, but follow the INN river flying between the Mountains. In some ways sight seeing and clandestine cargo flying is about the same!

AIRCRAFT: Douglas C-47 or DC-3. The Manfred Jahn C-47 v2 or v3 is encouraged.

Group Flight Server: JoinFS -- Global Session

    Flight Plan: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AhXvXtGPOxKhg36rdtlJNDcGZwzl
    Respects, Bob ...

Thanks for the help Bob. I also changed the UTC time for the group flight to make it appear on the main web page.

COOL! Sounds interesting. i have seen one in RL in our local Air Museum, but in FSX i had to land it on the way from Edwards, AFB to LA at Palmdale... overheated the engine. Whoops... C-47 is VERY forgiving plane.

BTW Robert... this is directed to you since you are in Vegas these days. We'll give ya style for other flights. I thought of ya when i did this scheme... ;-)
      http://prntscr.com/og1q22 (1955 Elvis Pink Caddy Scheme) on a Falcon 7 -- Hey it's Vegas... ;-) ;-)

oh yea the Honda Jet i did has been updated and you would need to update if it does not fly right BTW. A MINOR Dynamic error on my part, (i didn't check)

Thankyathankyaverhymuch.... uhhuhuh ( does Leg Shimmy like Vegas Elvis, spinny arm thing to point...)

      Respectfully,
      MM3 N.A Miller, USN Ret.
