  • VA - FS Passengers Flight Report Error

I did a short flight from 1WA6 to KSEA last night (MSF1709) and when I went to export it to the VA it said something along the lines of 'departure/arrival destination not recorded'. I looked to see if there was a way to look at the report that gets submitted but didn't find anything. When I look at the 'viewlastreport' file in FS Passengers it shows all of the correct information for the flight was recorded. I can post it when I get home if it helps. I don't know what actually gets submitted to the server or if it can even be looked at. I was just wondering if this is a problem anyone else has run into. It was only a short hop so I only lost about 1/2 hour but I would hate to have this happen on a multi-hour flight.

If it's not correctable is there a way I can manually submit the information for credit?

    Hi TK,

You can manually submit a PIREP from the VA site. I would suggest putting a copy of the last report data from FSpassangers in the comments section for the VA admins to review.

the link can be found here: http://www.msflights.net/pilots/phpv...reps/filepirep

Yeah, thanx Nova, And TK, important in the Form for Manual Pirep is the section for the flightnumber: Please jus use the numbers without MFS, so for expl. your flightnumber is MSF1515 use just 1515 and dont for get to copy and paste the last logfile(somewhere in tne FSPassenger folder) into the comment box, thanx

Thank you, both. I went ahead and submitted my flight log. Hopefully I'll be able to track the issue down.

I still have not been able to get this flight to register properly in FS Passengers. Any chance someone else with FS Passengers can run this route and see what kind of result they get? It's only about a 20-30 minute flight at most. The only thing I can think is that it has something to do with Orbx Base + Vector combo.

If I remember correctly I think the problem with FsPassengers is that it canot record airports that have numbers in them...like the airport you took off from, 1WA6. If you are going to use FsPasengers I suggest to avoid airports with numbers (there aren't that many of them). Otherwise I would recommend using kACARS which works for all airports. kACARS also seems to be a little easier to use for the VA.

Thanks for letting me know. I opened a support thread to FS Passengers to see if that can be confirmed or if anyone else over there knows how to remedy this. While it's not necessary that I do that flight, it's a nice short hop when I'm limited on time.

After opening a support thread on FS Passengers, I'm getting the response that others are having no problems reporting airports with numbers in them to their respective VA as I have tried in-game via the export tool (one person in thread and one via PM confirmed this). I'd be surprised to find I'm the only one in the VA here that is running FS Passengers but the flight reports I've clicked all seem to be kACARS logs. I'm going to attempt another numbered airport flight this weekend from a different location as a test. Any input would be appreciate from other FS Passenger users.
