  • Which Headset?

My aging trusty Plantronics have given up (well one ear has) making me think I was going deaf in one ear.

In the past I've used both Plantronics and Sennheiser headsets and thought I could maybe get the Clarke Airlite 100's that I use in work, but I've just found out they're well out of my price range. :concern:

So what is everybody else using / would recommend?

Are these new fangled Turtle Beech things any good?

    Anybody using a Razer Headset?

I have the Kingston HyperX Cloud, a very good headset for the price. Even has a removable mic (great quality). It also comes with a carrying bag for travel, a 3.5 meter extension audio cord, a phone adapter, and an airplane adapter so you don't have to pay for a crappy, overpriced pair of headphones.

And the earcups are made out of real leather

Just looked at them and they look nice.

I'm currently looking at a set of these.

      Anybody got or had these?

My cousin has a pair, and in my experience with them, they're comfortable for like 20 minutes then they kinda got on my nerves after that (he never wears them fyi, for that exact reason)

My headset feels very light on the head and can be worn for long periods. Only problem that I've really had is that your ears really don't get to breath, probably because of the leather earcups.

I have an old logitech g35 headset that I don't use very much...its really uncomfortable and the earpads are made out of that fake leather looking material that break up after a year or two. The leather earpads aren't that comfortable cause they get kinda sweaty....and that picture of the Razer headphones look like they have the leather style earpads Id definitely want to get cloth earpads for my next headset. Also I'd definitely recommend a USB connection instead of a 3.5mm jack like that razer...it gives way better quality. I have had my eye on these corsairs for a while: http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Gaming...ng+H1500+Dolby (if you buy it from amazon don't forget to click the amazon link on our homepage first )
