If you have vPilot already installed and using it for VATSIM, or other system, and you have updated to a newest version, it will not work correctly for SimLink.
With the vPilot authors permission we are providing functional release.
Download and Install vPilot. (version 1.1.5851.23849)
You can simply run the installer on top of existing installation from the link above.
It will function correctly in SimLink as well as VATSIM (make sure to make a note of your VATSIM settings)
Even if you have already complex model matching rules installed I highly suggest to use SimLink specific installation for correct aircraft representation.
Download model matching files.
If you discontinue using SimLink, and you require newest version of Vpiolt, reactivate automatic update in settings.
In each of those operations existing settings are not changed.

____________________________
Because you are flying in "Free Flight" mode, if you have any AI traffic on, it can be confusing with multiplayer traffic.
If you want to switch off AI traffic,in FSX, go to main menu on top (Press Alt) Options/Settings/Display/ traffic tab , on the left "Aviation traffic" slide the sliders to 0%, press OK.
