Can an Xplane user confirm that the Proxy now isn't needed for Simlink.

If so I'll update the instructions in the first post.

It is not needed.

It is not needed, provided the current release (version 1.3.3) of XSquawkBox is used, available here. In that configuration, XSquawkBox replaces both the proxy and vPilot.

The downside is that XSquawkBox has, at the moment, a more limited range models available for model matching. This may not be insuperable, at least for SimLink purposes, as we may be able to adjust the CSLs (models) to get "near enough" matches in most cases. It's a project...
