  • A2a b-17

    :soap:
Hi, I'm thinking about buying the A2A B-17 and had a few questions before I get it. It seems that there are many different versions, is there a better version? Do you have a frame rate hit when you use it, and by how much? Oh, and what is Wings of Power 3? Is it a whole different program? Thanks.:kiwi-fruit:

What you want is the A2A Wings of Power 2 B-17G with Accu-sim. The link for the B-17 can be found here and the Accu-sim expansion can be found here. It is one of the more expensive add-ons, but just ask anyone who has it and they will tell you that it is well worth it, easily one of the best experiences you can have in FSX.

No frame rate loss, A2A take pride in the fact that they work hard to bring you amazing visuals with little to no frame rate hit.

Wings of Power is just a name that A2A uses for their product line. The higher number, the more recent the aircraft. Wings of Power aircraft were for FS9, Wings of Power 2 began with FS9 and then onto FSX, and Wings of Power 3, and the two Wings of Silver aircraft are non military type (377 and J3).

Ah, ok. The accusim pack comes separate. The reason I asked about the frame rates is that in every video of the B-17 A2A posted I saw, there was no autogen. I thought they were trying to hide a frame rate hit. Thank you for the help!
