  • Best Quality Freeware FSX Aircraft

    Hello,

I thought I'd post some of what I think are the best freeware aircraft available today. Most of these are from FS Freeware and you can find them by simply typing them into your search engine.

*PLEASE NOTE* This is only a list. This forum post does have images and links but not on every list item. Also I will be constantly updating this list. All credit goes to the authors.

    Civil Aircraft

    1. Boeing 757-200 British Airways (Personal Favourite)
This aircraft is one of the best freeware aircraft you will get on FSX. This aircraft includes a great livery and detailed cockpit. Originally £19.99 It is now reduced to FREE!

    2. Boeing 757-200 American Airlines
This is the same as the British Airways 757-200 aircraft but is American Airlines and is in great detail. You can also purchase alot more for just £1.99

    3. Boeing 747-800 (Many Airlines)
On the FS Freeware website there is alot of Boeing 747-800's of great detail, quality and features.

    Military Aircraft

    1. Boeing T-45C Goshawk
This aircraft is available on the FS Freeware website. I must say this is one of the best free military jet I have ever seen on FSX. This also features a tail hook for carrier ops!

    2. Lockheed Alpha C-5 Galaxy (Personal Favourite)
This one is the biggest on the list. The best part of it is the detailed cockpit although most switches are not operational. It also features a opening nose and ramp!

    3. Air Force One
This is the same as the previous 747-800 aircraft simply with the Air Force One livery.

    General Aviation

    1. Basler BT-67 (With and without ski's) (Personal Favourite)
This aircraft I think should be payware this is my second favourite to the Boeing 757-200. It has great feature and almost all the cockpit switches are operational! It is even possible to open the windows in the cockpit!

    Helicopter's

    1. AgustaWestland Merlin (Personal Favourite)
This one Is my favourite because It is highly detailed and looks very cool!

    2. Sikorsky MH-53 Pavelow
I had one problem with this one I can't seem to see the gauges the are just black but apart from that this makes to be a very nice piece of you virtual hangar

    3. Sikorsky CH-53
This is a great helicopter but has the same problem as I did before with the black gauges. Nevertheless the Presidential Livery is great for escort or flights around cities.

Well that was a great shopping trip
Felt like that one time in 2008 I went to the back of a gamestop dump
And took some junk that I could fix
