  • Flight planning add-on called Plan-G

Hi everyone, I just stumbled across this planning tool you might like. If you know of something other than this that is better please post, because I found flight planning to be a real let down in FSX.
    http://www.tasoftware.co.uk/planG.htm

It allows you to build a flight plan based on MS Nav data and/or custom waypoints. You can plan a flight including what parking spot, departure rwy, approaches, etc, and then export it to a ".pln" file, save it to your FSX folder where your other flight plans are, and FLY! It also connects to FSX via simconnect or FSUIPC, enabling a bunch of other features! Its call Plan-G. I give it a thumbs up, heck, I suggest it. I was able to figure it out quickly w/o reading the manual. http://www.tasoftware.co.uk/plan-g/f...G%20Manual.pdf

And next a view when connected to FSX with some of the features open.

OK, I tried this software and I am impressed. It is ideal for those who have dual monitors, who can run this simultaneously with FSX. I don't run FSX without it anymore. I love it! Thanks for the info.
