G'day Pilots!
We will be continuing our tour of Australia, this week in Frantic Palmtrees!
We will be taking in some scenic sights as we begin the long trek to the northern most reaches of Australia. As some of you know my abilities in helicopters is somewhat lacking, so you will have to bear with me as we fly this leg!
We will be heading off from Connellan, a quick stop at Uluru then heading up to Kings Canyon. Two of our stops will be OZx airports (and the last is also enhanced by them) so that is the only extra scenery you will need for this flight.
This flight will be taking place using SimLink. The flight plan can be downloaded from my OneDrive.
Weather
A word of warning about weather. The Jeppesen loaded weather is nothing even close to correct for this area. In fact it renders operation out of most of the airstrips here not viable. I HIGHLY recommend a weather engine such as Active Sky (payware) or FSrealWX (freeware). Alternatively you can use the Clear Weather function of FSUIPC. If you have any questions about how to do this please ask!
Departure Time: 2100AEST (0700EDT 1100Z)
Recommended Aircraft: Rotary winged. Flight lead will be in a UH-60 Blackhawk

Recommended Terrain Mesh: Orbx Freeware Australia Holgermesh
