This flight is 800 nmi long. In still air, at 15,000 ft, 200 kts IAS is 245 kts ground speed, this will take 3¼ hours! If we get some tail-wind (forecast to be perhaps an extra 40 kts component for first half of the flight), it might be up to ½ hour quicker.

      Two points arise from that:
      1. Aircraft have to have necessary range and endurance. (My Bronco has a range of 1,100 nmi and an endurance of 4½ hours.)
      2. Would you change the Simulation Rate to shorten the flight (doesn't affect range/endurance) or force some high tail wind (does affect range/endurance)?

My North American Rockwell OV-10A Bronco, sometimes as viewed from other aircraft. (One exception: Littlecube landing.)
