G'day Pilots!
This week we start at the site of Australasia's largest Airshow Avalon Victoria and we wind our way down and cross Bass Straight and head to Tasmania.
In honour of taking to the skies where our friends from Iris Simulations reside the recommended aircraft for this flight will be the Iris Battlefield Airlifter. This is a magnificent piece of kit can be purchased from your favourite Flight sim retailer or direct from www.irissimulations.com.au

This will be taking place in FSX:Classic. Some special scenery is REQUIRED for this flight. It is now finalized "Novawing24 AusTour airports v2.5" and is available for download with the flight plan. PLEASE READ THE README and take note of the section regarding my previous versions of this pack.
Weather
A word of warning about weather. The Jeppesen loaded weather is nothing even close to correct for this area. In fact it renders operation out of most of the airstrips here not viable. I HIGHLY recommend a weather engine such as Active Sky (payware) or FSrealWX (freeware). Alternatively you can use the Clear Weather function of FSUIPC. If you have any questions about how to do this please ask!
Tonight two VA routes will be featured, MSF2222 and MSF2223.
