Welcome to the New Year and a new event. Aviation Trivia Monday, I am totally sold on Monday but let’s see how this goes.
On our introductory flight will be focusing on Georgia aviation history. Georgia while being located in the heart of the southeast is number 3 in the US for aviation exports behind Kansas (#2) and Washington (#1). Home too Charles lindbergh’s first flight, the Bell (now Lockheed Martin) Bomber plant, Delta Airlines, the world’s busiest airport/airspace, The largest Air force major repair and overhaul base, Gulfstream, Thush Aircraft, Maule Aircraft, Icom Avionics, and the most unmanned aerial vehicle flights in the US, Georgia is a hot bed for aviation. Our Route of flight will cover a number of these locations and will be a hint as to what the questions will be about.
The route will be-
Dobbins Air Reserve Base- KMGE
>
Hartsfield – Jackson Atlanta International- KATL
>
Robins Air Force Base- KWRB
>
