  • Flight around the country in military Fighters

When: Today, Moday the 27th @ 9pm ET (Military Fighter Jets)

Details:Join me tonight @ 9pm EDT/1am UTC to fly some Military Fighters around the US!
Today's flight will be Departing from KADW(Andrews AFB/NAF) and will finish at KNIP(Jacksonville NAS), the full route is KADW-KNKT-KNBC-KNIP.

Scenery: Unfortunately because Microsoft didn't spend much time on Military bases the default scenery is not very good, so if you would like to you can download new AFCADS/Scenery for the Military bases.

    Cruise speed: 350-400kts

    Altitude: Angels 24(24,000)

Aircraft: Military Fighters(NO PROPS), I will be flying the F/A-18C by the FSX Blue Angels(Available here:https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3S...FiS20zS0k/view), other suitable aircraft are; Dino's F14, F35, or T45(all 3 available here; http://indiafoxtecho.blogspot.com/), the Default F/A-18A, or any other Real Military Fighter(Please no fictional aircraft)

Extra Details: If you would like to fly in formation with other fighters during the group flight, not only is it allowed, but encouraged, however, If someone asks you to stop please stop! We will be preforming a Right Overhead/Fleet break at each airport we arrive at, if you are unfamiliar with this maneuver please watch this quick tutorial by the FSX Blue Angels: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0H9Gblws7nA
If you have any questions during the flight please ask me, but please wait for channel time.

    More details to come.

350-400kts and fighters? Bummer, I would've brought Shamu (KC-10) along.
When God finally says, "King, my office. Now!" I want to go barreling in there half spun out with holes in my clothes, smoke rising from me, and my hair in a mess. I want to be busy. I don't want to go explain myself and not have a great story to go along with it.

Unfortunately yes, today just fighters, however, if this event goes well, and everyone likes it I may make it a weekly event for a while, possibly allowing larger *Military* aircraft

If that super hornet could talk, "yeah bro, I lift..."

              Actually:
              * The raised position of the sidewinder hard-points provides the munitions with a greater forward-and-up view of the target area in a dogfight (where the evading aircraft is typically positioned in a traditional turn-fight). This improves target acquisition and tracking by 25%.
              * The refueling nozzle is often extended in flight to aid in cooling of the fuel system when cruising at or above 349 knots indicated airspeed. This results in a 3.6% increase in fuel economy, and therefore greater cruise range or time on target.
              * By lowering the tail hook, the overall center of gravity of the aircraft is lowered, and I can't think of any situation in which a lower center of gravity had been a bad thing (cars, athletics, engineering, etc)! With the lower center of gravity, turbulent air penetration is 6% smoother, turning radius is 12% tighter, and style points are 92% higher.
              * 67.43% of all statistics are made up.

... Ok; next time I'll bring a different aircraft. :cower:
Take the time, a second to soar; for soon after, beckons a second more.
