New plane available for this flight! I've added the Sadler Vampire to my Modern Oddities OneDrive hangar, with 25 kt stall, 102 kt max. It easily meets the 55 kt cruise requirement for this flight, and has the lowest stall speed of my OneDrive planes.

This is a Light Sport (LSA) version of the original 1982 ultralight. The Vampire progressed through many versions, including a two-seat LSA and the 250 kt Piranha aimed at the military market.

Sadly, the Sadler Aircraft Company was put up for sale in 2010, though some Vampire variants are now sold by Garland Aerospace.

      Features:
      • Flaps
      • Fixed tricycle gear
      • Twin tail boom
      • Fixed pitch pusher prop
      • Altitude hold

      Download by clicking here.

      Note:
      1. This is now at version 1_0_1.
      2. Fixed: VC panel light washed out the inside of the canopy at night, obscuring vision.
      3. If you've already downloaded v1_0, you can download a patch file here to update your existing installation.
