G'day Pilots!
The Australia Grand Tour is Back! At a new time and Day!
Due to personal and work commitments I have had to change the time for this series, we will now be departing at 21:00 on Sunday Evenings Australian time (0700 ET). The adjusted format will now be slightly shorter in each leg's length.
We will be returning to our regular cruise speed of 230KIAS so the King Air's are back in town! The repaint for this along with the flight plan is now available from my OneDrive! http://tinyurl.com/novawing24-flightplans.
Weather
A word of warning about weather. The Jeppesen loaded weather is nothing even close to correct for this area. In fact it renders operation out of most of the airstrips here not viable. I HIGHLY recommend a weather engine such as Active Sky (payware) or FSrealWX (freeware). Alternatively you can use the Clear Weather function of FSUIPC. If you have any questions about how to do this please ask!
Once again we will be partnering with the VA on this stretch and there will be one VA route featured this week!
