I have accused the Tiger group of not being able to fly helicopters!
For some reason, they took offense to my accusations and heard my words as some sort of challenge.........
So its on........
update...... We will be flying the Lukla pass, which is an airport deep in a cavern. We will also be conducting procedural taxi's takeoff's, approaches, and precision landings at a normal airport. Expect the tiger team to conduct a formation flight, and our side to respond in kind. Expect this to be a lot of fun for everyone.
I was thinking about the endgame here, and it seems to me that the Tiger guys are looking for some sort of apology from me for accusing them of not being able to fly choppers, which they will get, IF they can prove their skills....... Of course, IF THEY CANNOT, I will expect them to admit publicly that I was right and that they don't, in fact, know how to fly choppers. See you girls on the tarmac!
Compitition to occur at VNLK, including a mountain climbing compitition (to 22,000 feet) in the Blackhawk. We will also be moving to LAX for some formation flying.....
The Blackhawk used in this competition is a payware aircraft. As such, I realize that many spectators will not have the Cera Uh-60 and I have created a NON-flyable version of the Blackhawk availible for download. Again, you will not be able to fly this aircraft as it will not show up in your hanger, but if you want to see the aircraft when others are flying it, download it HERE
We will also be flying a freeware Pavelow. Downloadable HERE
I realize that many will be spectating, and those doing so are welcome to show up in any helicopter that they want. However, during competition all non-competing aircraft are grounded!
MSFlights Team: HawgDawg4life, Lifeflight67, Idleline, and any others that wish to join.
Tiger Team: Prolly wont show up! HAAAAAA!
NEW UPDATE: 30 min before flight..... Airport change. We have technical difficulties at Lukla which as forced us to move to LSTS where Msflights and Tiger guys are going to fly together on a nice helicopter run. Then, we change to KLAX for Formation flights.
