MS Flight - Around Maui

Greetings Pilots!

Well our surfers are happily catching some breaks off Maui which gives us some time to take in some sights and fly some supplies around Maui.

We will be flying our Maule's again (sorry Storm) Please find the flight plan details below.

You can either open them in Paint and resave them as a JPG or upload them to a photosharing site like Imgur or Photobucket and share the links here.

Convert them to JPG files. There are several ways to do this. Here's one without installing new software:

1. Right click on each BMP file, mouse over the "Open with" option, and select "Paint". This will open your default Windows image editor called Paint.
2. At the top-left in Paint is a dark blue rectangle with a document and a down arrow on it. Click on that, mouse over the "Save as" option, and select "JPEG picture". Make sure it's being saved to the right place with the right name, and then click "Save".

The disadvantages of this method are:

• You can only convert one file at a time.
• Paint saves your JPG file only at medium quality/smaller file size. (You have no choice in this compared to image editors such as, say, PhotoShop.)

If you don't mind installing new software, you can download IrfanView from http://www.irfanview.com/ This excellent program has the advantage of letting you do batch converts (i.e. many files at one time) using an option under the File pull-down menu. Batch conversion using IrfanView is highly recommended for reducing the overall file space needed for your screenshot folder. For example, if you have a screenshot folder with 1,000 BMP files and each file is 7.36 Megabytes, you are using a total of 7.36 Gigabytes! If you changed them to JPG files, you could shrink that total to perhaps half a Gigabyte.
