  • Lazers Around the World, back in time: 1699 Louisiana

Hi guys! Looks like its time for another night of delivering cargo in those majestic Herky-birds!

For this lap, HQ has equipped the Globe Slayer C130 with the experimental "Zero-Point Singularity Drive" that was recovered from Jebidiah's crashed aircraft. Details of the escape attempt and subsequent re-capture of this dangerous visitor can be found here: http://msflights.net/forum/showthrea...iah-04-03-2014

The SINGULARITY DRIVE has the following properties:

    1. Allows the equipped craft to travel to any point in time.
    2. Any aircraft in the local area will also be shifted to the period of time the drive is locked in on.
    3. Slewing voids the warranty and will be frowned upon.
    4. The Singularity Drive will allow for all airports to be available for use regardless of the time period.
    5. Because the Singularity Drive is capable of sending aircraft back millions of years into the past, it will correct for any continental drift that may have taken place.

All we know at this point is that HQ is sending us to 1699 Louisiana to deliver supplies requested by the Houma tribe, west of the mouth of the Mississippi. These supplies include large cypress poles and an assortment of fish and wild game.

The flight plan for Thursday night is as follows:

    KMAW Malden municipal Departure
    KPBF Pine Bluff
2M4 Forest (caution: RW is only 3,500 ft.)
    KBTR Baton Rouge

As always, the preferred aircraft for these back in time flights is the fantastic Captain sim C130 Hercules, but feel free to use any plane that can maintain 270 KIAS at around 16,000 feet. Please be aware that some runways will be a bit short for some aircraft. All I ask is that you are familiar with your bird, and that the group stays together to avoid any planes falling out of the time-shift.

Awesome time as always. Great sunset for the shots I got. Sorry for not uploading sooner, had a bunch of school stuff to knock out. 2 Things:
                    1. Somebody's gotta teach me how to upload the shots in large format rather than thumb
                    2. We oughta find a 2 seat bird and I'll ride in the back and shoot screens shots during the flight if someone else wants to fly. It would be pretty awesome.
When God finally says, "King, my office. Now!" I want to go barreling in there half spun out with holes in my clothes, smoke rising from me, and my hair in a mess. I want to be busy. I don't want to go explain myself and not have a great story to go along with it.
