This Friday we will be flying to Rome, Italy! This flight will be rather lengthy, so I do intend to be in the air by 7:15 PM EST (UTC -5:00). Don't worry, because there will be plenty of opportunities for anyone to join the flight once we are in the air.
We will be starting our flight at LIRP (runway 4R) in Pisa, Italy. After takeoff we will bank to the left, thus passing over the "Leaning Tower of Pisa." Then we are on to our next airport, LIRJ, on the island of Elba in Livorno. And finally, on the last leg of this flight, we will head towards Rome. My flight plan (.PLN) should take us directly over "Vatican City" and the "Colosseum." After we are done flying around Rome, we will head to our final airport, LIRA.
The aircraft of choice for this flight will be one from the "turbo prop" genre again. I would like to recommend the Sus Scrofa from Storm's Hanger, which you can download by CLICKING HERE. NO JETS!!! Our speed will be between 200-250kts, and our altitude will vary depending on the type of terrain we may encounter.
See you in Italy!
