After re-installing Microsoft Flight after a recent windows reformat and a new graphics card, I thought it would be nice to host a flight in Microsoft Flight. I must say after flying in FSX for a year Microsoft Flight looks amazing. Not to mention the flight dynamics feel so much more immersive as well.
(I think one of Microsoft's biggest mistakes was having the Icon as the default plane. If they had the Carbon Cub deluxe as the default plane they would have got so much less hate from the flight stimulation community)
We will be flying 2-3 legs on the big island at Carbon Cub speed.
Departing Saturday night @ 10pm ET
Since there is a max of 16 players allowed, feel free to post in the Event Forum thread to reserve a spot. I'm not sure if we will actually get 16 players since it has been so long since I last hosted a group flight in Microsoft Flight. Available slots will be open on a first come basis, except for people that reserve a slot here (granted they get on around 10pm ET).
Tip: If your re-installing Microsoft Flight an easy way to install all the downloads and free previews (so you can see planes you have not bought yet) launch Games for Windows Marketplace from your desktop. You can do this by either typing "Marketplace" in the start menu search bar or navigating to the Games for Windows Live Market Place folder. Once you log in you can then download all the add ons instead of using the slow/clumsy ingame menus.
