Michael, may I respectfully point out that EDDF to YSSY is nearly 9000 nautical miles. I believe the range of an F/A-18 is little more than 1000 nautical miles, so you would need to refuel 8 times. Its top speed of Mach 1.8 means your journey would take nearly 9 hours to complete.
