One of the biggest comments on FSX out there is.... "why does this piece of software run like **** after its been out for years and has 2 service packs?" This is almost guaranteed to have a follow up question, like.... "I love the graphics but how do you get such great performance when my system is brand new and it sucks worse than a hungry vampire?" Many people will tell you to either use the Jesus Tweaks or Bajote's Tweaks, both are very good tweaks, if your not afraid to .CFG edit in a notepad then you can go in and customize where stuff is needed, however this is extensively time consuming and usually results in headaches, posting your tweak on a forum is also a good way to start an .CFG edit war. This is where I usually try to get my 2 cents in with FSPS Xtreme PC, many people on forums will tell you... "don't buy that, you can do it yourself and save money", while this is most certainly true, people in general don't like looking at code and hand editing it, some people even get nightmares about this.


So what exactly is the big deal about this FSPS FSX tweaking tool, and why is it better than Jesus & Bajote tweaks? First off this is PAYWARE, you BUY this, this also comes with some excellent professional customer support in case you are having issues or questions. The best thing about this tool is that its all GUI (Graphical User Interface) this mean no code to see or edit by hand, its like adjusting your settings in FSX with sliders and check boxes, simple. If you are not sure what you are adjusting there are tiny question mark boxes that you can click it tells you in a basic sense what they mean and sometimes even make a recommendation as what to set it to. If you want to be really lazy and still get good performance, you can just click on the "Calculate for VFR" or "Calculate for IFR" at the top, the program will scan your system's hardware down to the drivers and adjust as necessary to personally suit your system and what you like to fly.


I have been using this program since May of 2012 and before that I used Bajote's tweaks, FSPS not only gave me better performance but also better visuals, there are many claims to this on FSX Xtreme PC's reviews and I am a true believer in this product. This program is only 10-12 USD, and sometimes it goes on sale and you can pick it up for about 5 USD, so its cost in relation to most FSX 3rd party content is quite low, and that makes this product In My Honest Opinion... SOLID GOLD.
