Hi pilots and VA staff,
first of all, thanks for putting all the efforts into the system, it works great
I am a big fan of flying in Alaska virtually, because it combines spectacular landscape with harsh weather conditions and challenging airports and approaches. Most of us have flown there in MS Flight, so I thought of a VA expansion to the last frontier in FSX. My idea is to have national routes between KSEA (Seattle) - PAKT (Ketchikan) - PAJN (Juneau) - PANC (Anchorage) - PAFA (Fairbanks). Each of the hubs has plenty of small to medium size airstrips around it so there's enough to cover at least 3 outbound/inbound runs to smaller airports in and out of each hub. I have already done some for PAFA and PANC in Plan-G with attention to different sized bush planes (e. g. some trips with runways < 3000 ft for small and STOL aircraft like Maule, Beaver, Twin Otter, ... and trips with runways > 3000 ft for bigger aircraft like DC-3, DC-6 and Turboprops/Biz-jets). There's also nice scenery available (Orbx PFJ and SAK, Flight1s Ultimate Alaska and some airports like Anchorage and Fairbanks of Aerosoft/sim-wings, Ketchikan and Stewart (Juneau to come) by Orbx, ...).
My question for you is: Is this applicable to you? I'd like to help you and give my work to the VA when it's finishied if you are interested in it. What do you think?
