  • [tuturial] how to fly aerosoft a318-321 aerosoft airbus

    hey everyone fltnut here:

i have been learning how to fly the airbus a318-321 from aerosoft and you can too. i have planned this from as simple as i could for everyone to learn how to fly these planes from aerosoft. if your planning to buy these aircraft from aerosoft you will need a hefty pc with some guts cause it requires some ha ha to fly with the detail the aircrafts have. i have a 8 core with 2 gb video and sometimes it a stuggle for my machine, so if you do, here is the extras you will need.

1.in navdatapro which comes with planes buy the latest data sets little over 8 bucks for 1 set its 1513 data. now your planes will not have the latest data set when you get them.

    2. gone online to get this, its called the onlineflightplanner.org and there is nothing to download its just a web site to plan your route with and can be used anytime you want to plan some where to go.

    3. these planes come with a fuel planner to load fuel into your plane as i have done in my video on my you tube site at [ gonebaddog123

    4. now the fun part of learning, here is a video that i have done pertaining to these aircraft. its a link to my video with a a320 hope this helps

    Hi fltnut,

If I may a few suggestions:

    1. Use the spell-check feature of web browsers such as Chrome, Edge and Firefox.
    2. Plan your video before you film it. Have all the references you need to hand and remember that you are doing this as a tutorial, so you need to seem like you know what you are doing :P
    3. Name your videos, I counted over 30 videos on your channel (including this one) simply called P3D.
    4. Think of your audience, are you aiming this at someone who has just this aircraft or someone that uses this aircraft in addition to other add-ons such as GEX, ASN etc.?
    5. It appears you upload directly after recording, consider using video editing software to check your video before publishing. This will enable you to take out things that should not be there or adjust volume levels, screen dimensions etc. The basic one you can get from Microsoft is worth it as you start your videography journey (Windows Movie Maker)
    6. Also is 2+ hours the right length for a tutorial video? Break it down. Do a tutorial on pre-flight/start up then a different video on the full flight. What Froogle does is a great example of how well this works.
    7. Check your hardware settings - eg your microphone pick up volume and the volume of the sim. Lower the sounds of the sim so we can actually hear you speaking.

Just a few suggestions from someone who has been where you are! This is not something you get great at overnight, it took me three years before anyone started noticing what I was doing (and for those that watch me I think you are all nuts FYI, love you all but you're nuts)

Video editing, even the basics, is an evening project to learn. Windows has a movie maker built in that does some basic things. In a normal text file once you're done you hit save & a moment later you're done. With video editing saving the edits is called rendering. Rendering can take the PC as long or longer than the video clip itself.

It's fun and rewarding but does take some conscious effort.
