I took my family to the local airshow last night for the opening events. It was held at an airport (KBJC) just northwest of Denver. There was lots of flying, fun, and fireworks! I thought I would share some pictures.
The picture above is a powered glider flown by a paraplegic shooting off fireworks. He really looked to be enjoying himself during his surprisingly lengthy and entertaining flight. The picture below is a 20 foot rocket with a class N motor built by an intern team here at United Launch Alliance. It was named 'Stars 'N' Stripes'.
