  • WIP: A2A C-182 Vintage repaint!

Hello everyone! Tonight I started working on a repaint for A2A's amazing C-182! Below is what I have so far, and she is absolutely beautiful! I have yet to work on the interior, and that will take a few days then I will release the repaint! Thanks everyone & happy flying!

Looks good! The yellow 'highlights' made me think of something... Why don't flight schools yellow-highlight surfaces on the aircraft that get special attention during a pre-flight checklist? Leading edges, control surfaces and hinges, fuel drain ports, pitot tube, static ports, engine intake, prop, wheels, -- ok, now that I think about it, practically the whole plane would be yellow!
Take the time, a second to soar; for soon after, beckons a second more.

Heres a WIP interior shot. Tell me anything that has to be fixed because I don't do interiors. Thanks!

At first glance it's "too clean"... Then I found out why: if you can, paint on some silver and black screws... mounting points for the panel itself and for each instrument.

...Unless you're going for one like this:

... but that requires a level of depth modeling in lieu of visible screws/mounts, which would really be a challenge (IMO).
