I've found that I can not run FSOpen/FSX on one machine and JoinFS via port 6112 on another. Since Redbox is still our official FSX box version server I need to make some changes.
Marty has been running JoinFS on a machine in his home pretty much 24/7 with better stability performance than on my system. He is happy for anyone to connect to his machine as part of our JoinFS testing process. Marty's IP is 173.19.122.221 . I would suggest that we use his IP as a default for JoinFS.
I will continue to run JoinFS but I will need to change the port to something different. I think I will use "3419". I don't know what impact that will have on its use. We'll see. If it doesn't work, we'll have Marty's.
