I thought I told you it went through. Now they're pressing whoever to put everything in writing and in place. It's supposed to be ready for January 1, 2017, I'm pretty sure.

Nope the last we spoke Airwolf, it had passed through Congress and was waiting on the President to sign it. He did but I missed the announcement somehow. Shame, just missed the best two flying months around here.

Weather gets a little more problematic for scheduling from here until summer. And then it's rough air until fall.

I don't think you can use it yet. I think it is supposed to be in place for the first of the year and it sounds like they are worried it won't be straightened out in time.

No, there are no changes in place as of now. The FAA has until 15Jul17 to implement the changes. I will spend a ton of time with a CFI so I am all good to go once it is in effect. It's been years since I actually flew. I am sure FSX has given me all kinds of bad habits:-)
