  • MS Flights Proxy Client : Connection Help

    Hi Fellas!

I am a recent member to your group and could use some help. I have X-Plane 10 version 10.45 with XSquawkbox and MS Flights proxy client installed. I first start the proxy client then minimize it. Then I open XP10 and start Xsquawkbox, and click connect. I put in the information in the boxes, then click "connect". The first message I get says that I have connected successfully, but then immediately after, I get an error message in red stating that I entered an incorrect CID/password. My question is this : Do I need a CID issued by msflights.net and a password? If so, how do I get that? I mistakenly thought that my forum password would work, but I guess not. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!:adoration:

    CID: MSFPILOT
    Password: MSFPILOT

    That should do it.

Excellent news LTC647. Welcome to SimLink skies.

I, and possibly others here, would love to hear more of your experience using X-Plane with our system.

Well, yesterday I did a 1.5 hour flight from KBKL to KBDL on the server. I was dropped only once, but from then on, I had no difficulties. I hope my group at fsvintageair will make the transition to msflights.net asap. Connection is easy with X-Plane. I already had XSquawkbox since I also fly on Vatsim, so I just had to download the proxy client. Piece of cake!
