msFLIGHTS.net Steam North America server is down (extended outage)

FSX Steam North American multiplayer server ~msFLIGHTS.net~ NA is down. Apparently that host computer has suffered a power interruption and is in a powered down state. There is no local human being at the Seattle server location to turn the computer back on. I never set the computer BIOS to recover from power interruption to a booted-up state. This server interruption may last up to two weeks, until either my wife or I return to our Seattle area residence. Other servers that I control are not available to take over Steam North American hosting as the server in my Las Vegas residence hosts the msFLIGHTS.net~ TacPack (and members') Steam server and only one FSX style server can have the required router ports forwarded to it.

Temporary interim North American based FSX Steam hosting volunteers from within our vast community would be considered and appreciated.

Please use the other community public facilities at ~msFlights.net~ AU or the password protected server at ~msFLIGHTS.net~ TacPack. That password protected TacPack server is also available for community members' free flight (non-TacPack) use. The password for that members' server is located in our TeamSpeak, "Servers-View Channel Description" channel (second channel from the top), right hand TeamSpeak pane, half way down under --Steam Edition-- category, bottom of category, ~msFLIGHTS.net~TacPack - Private Server. That password is dynamic and this TeamSpeak password notation is kept current.

I can try to host one on my pic I just have to ask my parents as I don't pay for Internet or power.

As Bob says, please feel free to use the ~msFLIGHTS.net~TacPack password protected server. Currently the password is team. If the password changes it will be updated in the server list. We use Monterey Regional (KMRY) for our military operations so you may want to steer clear of there, but as I said, please feel free to use this server. If you have any interest in military operations, please, come join the fun at Monterey.

I would also suggest Novawing24's server (msFLIGHTS.net-AU), as well, if the TacPack server is not to your liking. The connection is great and the server runs smoothly.

The ATPJet server is once again hosting the FSX Steam North American dedicated multiplayer facility. My real life suggested that I forego transporting my client hardware from Las Vegas to Seattle. Therefore, this ATPJet server computer is the only machine I have available to me until my return to Las Vegas sometime in the near to medium future (a month?). I continue to urge community members seeking a quality dedicated FSX Steam experience to avail themselves of our Steam Australian server brought to you by that giant in the flight simming world, Novawing24. Stable, civil, and cooperative Steam multiplayer can also be found on our password protected facility listed as ~msFLIGHTS.net~ TacPack. This Steam TacPack server is also open to community members for free flight.
