Here is a flight plan i did years ago that takes you through Chicago and down to the Air and Space Museum of Wright Patterson AFB.
Kettering Ohio. (Dayton Ohio)
It is set where there are optional airports for short range aircraft refueling, but again i did it in an ATR this time and the DASH 8 as i always do... Dayton Ohio Airport (listed as optional) would be recommended for Commercial Aviation, and milk jets can land at the museum itself, although it can accommodate both.
For this one, i think it would be a hell of a group flight, even though i took it through Chicago, it could easily be modified to run through indianapolis, IN and Columbus, Ohio for a straight shot.
I did test this myself and ran it a half dozen times in the last 3 days, so its well tested and tweaked.
