  • How to hide or block Windows Updates or driver updates in Windows 10

If a driver or update you are being offered in Windows 10 is causing system crashes or instability and Windows was operating correctly prior to that update, you can follow these instructions to prevent the unwanted driver or update from being installed.

Also... In Windows 10, System Restore is turned off by default. If you re-enable this feature, Windows 10 resumes the practice of automatically creating a restore point before installing each new batch of patches from Windows Update. This will make it easier to roll back an entire batch of updates while you investigate which one is troublesome.

Best of luck to all you early adopter pilots who are willing to investigate Windows 10 and the sim platforms that we fly here at msFLIGHTS.net. Please let us know how it goes.
    Respects, Bob ...

Good info, Bob. It's useful gems like this that brighten the approach lights a bit for those like me who feel like we're flying IMC (or at least marginal-VFR) when it comes to the latest technology.
Take the time, a second to soar; for soon after, beckons a second more.
