    Crash crash crash

    I have finally started using FSX , just figuring out the controls, views etc doing some short flights...and I get CTDs after 10 minutes and the graphics are just BLAH, shakes blures and flickering.??

    FSX with no add ons I tweaked my CFG using Kostas Guide. My PC is 3.8 GHZ with plenty of RAM and a GTX670 card.

    How do you keep this thing running?

              One thing I see immediately in your config is you have multiple display sections. Delete all but:
              [DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670.0]
              Mode=1920x1080x32
              Anisotropic=1

              (as an aside for others, if you are running DX10 like I am you will have a second display that looks like this:
              [DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670.0.0]
              Mode=1920x1080x32
              Anisotropic=1)

              Also the pool size needs to be in a specific section:
              [BufferPools]
              PoolSize=0

                This is what narrows down exactly what is failing "Faulting module name: unknown". It usually has a .dll file here. Have you had one produce a .dll file instead of unknown?

                  I made the changes to the CFG file and checked past errors. I had another "unknown" error this morning which occurred when I tried to open and close the map. I checked the past errors and I found this one..

                  I haven't noticed any difference with the graphics after the changing the CFG . The objects have jagged edges and lines especially the aircraft. Standing still it doesn't look too bad but in motion the lines and edges seem to come to life.

                    If you recently installed uiautomationcore.dll, delete it and see if that helps. If you havent installed uiautomationcore.dll, reinstall it using the following steps.


                    1, Download this file: http://www.mediafire.com/?mik2mlqdz1w

                    2, Drop the UIAutomationCore.dll file into the FSX root folder

                    3, While your in the root FSX folder, Hold Shift and right click, select "open command window here" from the list of options

                    4, Then into the CMD window that appears, copy paste this: regsvr32 UIAutomationCore.dll

                    5, Then press Enter
