I need help with my Microphone

So I have recently done a system restore and I am running windows 8. I can not seem to configure my microphone and I am not sure how. I am using Turtle Beach X12 and I forget how I did it last time. I have team-viewer if necessary but I would like to get my microphone active once again. Thanks!
