Welcome to Angel's Addon Center on msFlights.net:
Tired of your old crappy moon?
Check this free-addon that will make your night flights breath taking in realistic scnenery!
About the HD Moon Texture:
This update will replace all previous textures from version 2.0
- complete new rendering with new normal & bump map applied for
better lunar terrain effect and converted to Extended 32-Bit Bitmap
Additionally it's now possible to use 2048x2048 instead of 1024x1024
or 512x512 resolved textures. This means a plus of 3200 % in terms of
resolution compared with default 64x64 textures.
*I do not make responsible for people not reading the rules and not making a small back up of the files*

Step 1:
- Make a backup copy of your default moon textures. Therefore go to your FSX 'Texture' folder and copy file moon1.bmp up to moon15.bmp to a folder of your choice (for example, you could create a new folder 'backup moon texture' or something like that).
Step 2:
- Unzip the downloaded file and move the contents of HD_2048's --> 'Texture' folder into your main FSX TEXTURE directory. Click yes to replace all. (Wich are only Moon Textures).
Step 3:
- Set up a night flight with full moon and watch the magic works of an HD Moon Texture.
Step 5:
- Comment below and let me know if this really helped your FSX Experience.
