The FSD proxy is runs completely separate from any of the flight sim. Unlike DAFSIM there are no components that run everytime the flight sim is started.

The proxy program simply forces vPilot to look at "X" for a pathway to connect. It only runs when you start it manually. The same goes for vPilot. There is zero chance of it corrupting your sim(s) because they are not a part of it.

Good to know. I'll install it this afternoon and report back to ATC Roo's thread. Thanks Karl.

Edit: FSD proxy is up and running in my FSX-SE install and it stable. Thank you for the recommendation.

I had good luck with some advice I read on Orbx and Prepar3D forums.

Using Windows 8.1 control panel, I uninstalled the Prepar3Dv3 Academic Client
          I rebooted the computer.
          I ran the Prepar3D_v3_Academic_3.2.2.16659 Install_Client.msi.
I reinstalled FTX Global Base v1.4 by running OrbxFTXGlobal140.exe as administrator.
I reinstalled Orbx libraries by running FTXORBXLIBS_160201.exe as administrator.
          I navigated to:
          C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\ORBX\FTX_AU\FTXAA_ORBXLIBS\Scenery
and moved file ObjectFlow_P3D.dll out of that folder.
I ran FTX Central 2, selected Prepar3D V3 and set Group to FTX Global.
I ran Prepar3D v3.2 as administrator and started flying and spawning at likely problem Orbx Global airports. Everything worked, even most animations.
I switched to all other FTX Regions using FTX Central 2 and tried many potentially problem airports. Some animations are missing but most are present. Scenery all looked normal.
          FSUIPC v4.949c seems to work.
I heard on our TS last night from member "Sky" that Active Sky Next will have a patch for P3Dv3.2 out in a week. I didn't try ASN with P3Dv3.2.
I also heard from Sky that Digital Theme Park has a dedicated P3Dv3.2 multiplayer server up. I intended to visit Digital Theme Park but, as I have already been up all night long, I'll explore that after some sleep.
SimLink works flawlessly with P3Dv3.2. I flew on SimLink in Orbx scenery from Canberra to Melborne in Australia in a P3Dv3.2 Carenado Baron with no problems. Good frame rates, Orbx Vector looked fine, some new version 3.2 enhancements were evident, no problems.
Having said all this, the prudent Prepar3D pilot will take Casey's advice and patiently wait for word from Ed Correia at Orbx who posted in his forum that Orbx was hard at work with Orbx update(s) for P3Dv3.2.

Bob, when you have time, would you like to test Sim link (vpilot) with the Icon A5 aircraft and test it on the grass to see if it jumps around still? I am quite curious if that is fixed!

There is a link on the ASN forums for a newer version of ASN that will work with P3D v3.2
              http://www.hifisimtech.com/forums/sh...2-is-out/page2
This is a beta so if you are uncomfortable with that keep waiting. I have installed it and it seems to be working fine for me.

For those of you who use the GTN750 from Flight1 an update is ready for that as well.

Per Marty's post #36 and my early adoption of P3Dv3.2.2.16659, I attempted patch of ASN to the linked build 5912 beta patch. Seems to work well, weather injects, nothing seems to be crashing. I'll report any failures but I'll not post a continued successful implementation Of ASN P3Dv3 beta.

                              P3D 3.4 Hotfix Released 11/7/16

Just letting everyone know that the P3D Hotfix has been released. You can read about it from this link: http://prepar3d.com/news/2016/11/113769/
As always, I recommend waiting 1 week or so before installing so 3rd party devolpers can release their fixes/patches to work with this new version of P3D.
With this hotfix installed, the current P3D version is 3.4.14.18870

Also note: MICROSOFT .NET FRAMEWORK 4.6.2 MUST be installed on your system before updating!
