  • MSFS Control mapping video.

I saw Squirrel posted this how to on setting up your controls. For those of us that never got Alpha/Beta invites this may save you some time. As it's being released at 10 PM Mountain time on Monday, I plan to be setting my system up and doing some flying that night, so this is helpful with all the controls I have.

What is your current setup like these days? If I remember correctly you were working on an ever evolving simpit.

I will still switch between controls depending on the aircraft. So switching between combinations that use yoke, multi engine throttle, stick, fighter style throttle. The only recent addition has been a GNS530.

Having the ability to save and load different profiles will be a big plus. I use that feature in XP quite a bit. XP even remembers which profile I used for which a/c. Hopefully MSFS does that as well. We'll see in 39 hours and 50 minutes.

I do think unfortunately I'll need FSUIPC for my Discord PTT, since Discord still sucks and doesn't recognize individual USB devices. But I'll be able to start out and try it with the built in profiles.

Waterman981 Looking good! Interesting mount for the Warthog stick, I think I'll make a hardware discussion thread as I've got a few questions regarding mounts and other things for Warthog owners.

You can also find an in depth look at the controls here, Novawing24 talks about a few things that the above video does not

This morning John Dowson posted this about plans to release a beta of his FSUIPC7 for MSFS2020 on Aug. 18th.

I had seen that. I'll be interested to see how well all the mapping works built in. It would be sad if the only reason I needed to buy FSUIPC7 is for Discord.
