  • ATC Group Flight!

All the other groups seem to be having their Group flights so why not us ATC'ers.

It's happened before and I'd like to see it happen again. :encouragement:

Firstly we need pilots and lots of em.
Don't be scared if you've not used ATC before, We controllers are gentle folk and will explain the basics to you in order to guide you in the right direction (See what I did there? ) but we need our fix vectoring aircraft.
It's no fun sitting in a tower with no airplanes to control.

    The Group Flight Idea!
As many aircraft as possible flying in the same airspace both VFR and IFR (anywhere in the world is fine), with a few controllers no more than one hundred miles apart.

Allows for controllers to give hand overs to other controllers and pilots to gain a realistic non stop ATC service from airport to airport.

I just need to know WHEN and WHERE people would like it.

I think Krugar has laid out a first one for the community already...

I didn't even see Krugars event, Good spot Nova.

I'll try my best to attend although if I'm working I won't be able too as the event is from 12:30 AM to 08:30 AM here in the UK.

Maybe this post can serve as the next event after Krugars for those that may not be able to make it.
