I've often been asked By new or inexperienced virtual pilots exactly what a traffic pattern involves ani thought posting this very easy to understand diagram would help.





During an ATC session you may also be asked to report when mid field downwind this is purely informing the controller that you are half way along the length of the runway on your downwind leg.
