  • Captain Sim 737-200 vs Milviz 737-200

I have seen many forum posts on which is better; the CS 737-200 or the Milviz 737-200, after reading many reviews and watching youtube videos I have to say Milviz wins hands down across the board. Below are 2 video comparisons that should help you decide for yourself. Please note that the Milviz video is a quick start up guide and does skip over a few extra simulated details.

CAPTAIN SIM 737-200 Start up Procedure

"Remember, when in doubt hold on to your altitude, no one has ever collided with the sky"

"Speed is life, Altitude is life insurance"

"Respect the ground, for during the 100 or so years that man has been flying things made of metal going hundreds of miles per hour, and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose."

I agree, I wouldn't buy the Captain Sim 737-200 for it's full price of $40, it still feels like it has little bugs here and there. However it's certainly worth the purchase during their bi-annual sale when its only about $13.

From my own experience, the Captain Sim 737-200 wins easily, as far as accurate cockpit look and feel goes. An Air France B737-200 was the full-size first commercial sim I ever worked on. (In the 1980s; I did the instructor station.) This Captain Sim video shows the cockpit exactly as I remember it. The Milviz does not.

Storm the Milviz one is the 737-200C/Combi, it had a different cockpit than the Adv and Basic I believe, but you would definitely know more about that than me (not being sarcastic).
